Last night I upgraded this blog to version 2.3.2 of WordPress. I lost all of my categories.
Let me repeat that. I lost ALL. OF. MY. CATEGORIES. Two and a half years’ worth of posts, now all labelled “uncategorized”.
WordPress Support’s suggestion was that I “drop all my database tables related to wordpress, check and rebuild them, [...]

That’s a weird word isn’t it, “thanking”. But titling the post “I have some people to whom I would like to express my thanks” just seemed awkward. So, I’m sticking to “thanking”.
