I’ve mentioned that I’m turning Forty on January 30, right? While my initial thought was to pretend it was just another birthday and no big deal, really, I’ve changed my mind.
I’m turning FORTY! That IS a big deal! Assuming I live to be 80, gods willing, then I am entering MIDDLE AGE. I have Forty years of Life Experiences behind me, and that deserves recognition, dammit!
So in honor of my special day, here’s what I would like you, my bestest bloggity friends, to do for me. On January 30, I will put up a Happy Birthday post, and I want FORTY COMMENTS on the post. That’s it! I don’t think Forty comments is too much to ask, is it? Let me feel the love, people!

Ooh, Chantal, I’d have to find my Birth Certificate to tell you that. I have NO IDEA where it is though, so let’s just say I was born at 10:00 p.m.! That’s after the kids go to bed, right?

Oh you are paving the way. I turn 40 on December 14th. I am really freaking out about it and it’s still 11 months away. Maybe I can read how your year progresses and gain wisdom and insight from your experiences?

Im having a party next saturday part of me is looking forward to it and part of me isnt if you can understand that. Its nice to know that Im not alone in feeling freaked out about turning the big four o.
Tell me all you people who are now 40 did any of you feel depressed or get a bit tearful before your birthday, because this last week Ive been feeling this way,and are you feed up of people saying 40 is not old.
