This kind of reasoning drives me nuts, partly because of COURSE no one would have a problem with this if it were men doing it. Also, drinking does NOT equal drunk. There are different degrees of impairment, and somehow I doubt anybody was talking about getting pissy drunk while the little ones toddle off to play in traffic. Jeez. Grrrr, arrgh.
