Fever? Check. Runny nose? Check. Cough? Check. Stomach so full of phlegm as to cause occasional vomiting? Check.
Kaitlyn is sick. So far, I have been thrown up on twice, sat up with her until 2:00 a.m. letting her rest her burning-hot head on my chest, and watched “We Are the Laurie Berkner Band”, Sesame Street onDemand, and the Groundhog Day episode of “Jack’s Big Music Show” at least a dozen times each. You know who the musical guest is on that episode of Jack’s Big Music Show? STEVE! From Blue’s Clues! With his head all shaved and everything, except at one point he looks right at the camera and recites some fact about Groundhogs and you can see a glimpse of the Steve he used to be.
Even better, the host of the episode is Jon Stewart. You can see screenshots and read more reviews of the episode at Ninja Poodles and at The Lovely Mrs. Davis Tells You What to Think; I’d like to have more interesting and funny things to say about it, but my brain is too tired.
So, what does a sick baby wear when it’s Four degrees outside and the poor furnace is barely keeping the drafty house warm? Soft knits and warm fleeces from Hanna Anderrson, decorated with splashes of Apple Pedialyte and bits of Kleenex Anti-Viral tissue.

Oh….poor girl!! I hope she gets better soon!
I have to say, I don’t mind when Dawson has just a cold. If he throws up on me, I lose it, too. Ugh. That’s the worst. I’m such a wuss.
Sending good wishes for warmth and coziness and a quick recovery.
The Pedialyte and the tissue don’t show up in the picture at all!
Just kidding. Hope Kaitlyn is feeling better soon.
