I’ve been writing for PayPerPost for three weeks now. I’ve written eight posts, the longest of which was 200 words, and each post took no more than ten or fifteen minutes to write. If all eight posts get approved, I will earn $68 dollars, which is a pretty good hourly wage if you ask me.
But what I’m really getting out of it is blog marketing. The people who write for PayPerPost (known as Posties), are a community unto themselves. They promote each other’s blogs, give feedback, form blogrolls, run contests. All I had to do was respond to a few posts on the forums, and I’ve already seen an increase in traffic and rankings, and found a whole bunch of bloggers I would have never known existed. I know it might seem like something I’m only doing for the money, but I want you, my regular readers and friends, to know that it’s really not all about earning some money.
Writing a post that satisfies both an advertiser’s requirements and fits into the overall theme of my blog is harder than it sounds. I really try hard to only take sponsored posts that I feel I can write naturally about. If I can’t relate to a topic or writing about it feels unnatural, I don’t do it. My sponsored post writing is similar to writing ad copy, and quite frankly, it feels good to stretch my blogging muscles and take on something different. Besides, one of my very favorite bloggers writes ad copy for a living, and look at how fabulous she is!
Which brings me to the point of this post, and yes, there is one. Maybe you still aren’t interested in writing sponsored posts, and that’s fine. But would you still like to make a little money? You can sign up for PayPerPost’s Review My Post program. All you do is put a button at the end of each post that looks like this:
When someone clicks that button, they are taken to PayPerPost, where they sign up to write a review of your blog post on their blog. Once their post gets approved, they get paid $7.50, and YOU get paid $7.50! Okay so it’s not a ton of money, but an extra $75.00 bucks a month to buy a new outfit, new shoes, get your hair highlighted, whatever, doesn’t that sound good?
I hope at least one person who reads this post decides to give it a try. In the interest of disclosure, yes, I am getting paid for this post, but only once. I won’t make money if you install the Review My Post button. HOWEVER, if you click the Affiliate badge in my sidebar, sign up for PayPerPost, get approved, write a sponsored post and get that approved, I DO get paid. Consider it my Finder’s Fee! LOL Give it a try! Make a little extra mad money! I promise you’ll have fun doing it.

Please contact me at table4five AT gmail DOT com if you would like to discuss anything I've posted here, place a text or button ad, send me a product to review, or provide a guest post. Thank you for stopping by!
I don’t think you need to justify anything about your blog. I love coming here to read it, money or no money.
If you can make some extra cash writing ads, why not. I not offended in any way. I’ll still read.
Good Luck!
Good post there; you know I’ve been looking into it and the best way I can use it. Thanks for the help you’ve given.
Thanks for the informative post, Elizabeth. I’ll definitely look into it. You should get paid just for providing excellent PR for them!
