See, I told you I was going to do it! Since I have no Photoshop skills at all, I mentioned in a post to Karly that I was looking for someone to design the award button, and look what she made:

So, what do you think? Suggestions are welcome, it won’t hurt Karly’s feelings, I promise. If anyone has a suggestion for a different color or font or anything, speak up. I’ve already awarded it to three people-Karly, of course, and why don’t you pop on over to Wiping Up Snot (heehee!) and say hi? It’s her son’s birthday, and let me tell you, her blog is great and she writes really well.

The second person I gave the award to is my friend Carmen, from Mom to the Screaming Masses. I actually gave her two, because not only does her main blog rock, but she also just started a new blog, The E.L.F.F. Diet. You’ll have to go over there to see what it stands for, but I’ll give you a hint-Carmen has lost SIXTY POUNDS since January, 2006. Now, if that doesn’t rock, I don’t know what does!

The third recipient is CrunchyCarpets, who was feeling sad because she feels she is too shy to speak up for herself and join blog groups. I thought an award would boost her confidence!

I gave one to Erin at The Queen of Spain, because of her general awesomeness and you-ROCKitude. And because I want her to show me her boobs at BlogHer.

I gave one to Dana at The Dana Files because she is going to be my BlogHer roommate, which means I probably WILL see her boobs at least once. HA!

And last but certainly not least, I gave one to Mike from The Mike Stand, because he is a guy and I think male readers most definitely rock!

I’ll be handing out more awards in the next few days. It will be a random thing, so don’t feel bad if I haven’t sent you one yet. If you are a regular reader and commenter, you’ll be getting one. Because regular readers and commenters DEFINITELY rock.
