I had no idea what or who Squidoo was when I first read the word, so I Googled it, and found this Wikipedia entry for it:
Squidoo is a network of user-generated lenses –single pages that highlights one person’s point of view, recommendations, or expertise.
Hmm. Okay, well, that still didn’t help much, so I went to the Squidoo website, and found this explanation:
“Squidoo: SKWID-OO, n. v., adj., addiction. 1) thousands of people creating a handbuilt catalog of the best stuff online 2) a free and fun way to make your own page and get traffic 3) a place to find what you’re looking for, fast.”
Ahh. So basically, what you can do is create a page, either for yourself or for your business, and by including your online business profile, drive tens of thousands of potential buyers to your site. You can also create a Squidoo page to tell people about something for which you have passion, or knowledge. Examples from the homepage include how to plan a wedding, how to care for a rabbit, and how to roast your own coffee beans.
Have fun with Squidoo! This was not a sponsored post. This post was written for a Link and Blog One-on-One Challenge. Thanks for reading!

That’s a new word on me!
Never heard of it. But I seriously don’t need to put my fingers in yet another pie at this moment. LOL
I a lens on Squidoo, but I wouldn’t say it’s been a huge boost for me. It’s still another avenue to gain exposure for my skin care book, so I went with it.
I’ve added you to my Technorati Favorites. I’m doing the whole “Favorites Exchange” thing.
I love squidoo. I have a couple lens and I’m working on more. I think it’s a pretty cool place!
