It is common among Mommybloggers to spend weekends NOT reading blogs. You know, spending time with our families and whatever. And usually I don’t do much blogging on weekends either, but this weekend will be an exception. There are two big things going on here starting tonight.
ONE-In order to start making some more money with which to pay my BlogHer registration fees, I REALLY need to step up my sponsored post writing. I can take three posts a day from PayPerPost, as long as I write regular, decent length posts in between. That will net me anywhere from $5 to $15 a post. Then, I can also write for SponsoredReviews.com, Blogsvertise, and Smorty, again, as long as I write regular posts in between. So I am going to monetize the HECK out of this blog this weekend, and I’d appreciate it if you would stop by and cheer me on! I want those advertisers to be happy with me and the traffic my posts bring in for them. So do me this favor, please?
TWO-I am declaring WAR on the clutter in this house. WAR!!! I am freaking sick and TIRED of seeing piles of crap everywhere I look! It is completely my fault, I am an incurable piler. But even I can’t stand it anymore. So this weekend, I am going to be clearing off EVERY surface, cleaning out EVERY drawer, and throwing/giving away as much of it as possible. I am always convinced that I MIGHT need something, SOME DAY, so it is wasteful to get rid of it if I might have to buy it again, SOME DAY.
But, no more. I would rather have to spend the money to re-buy something than have to keep shuffling around the piles of junk to make room for more junk I’m not USING! So this weekend, it is ON, house. You are getting DE-CRAPPIFIED if I have to stay up ALL NIGHT, EVERY NIGHT to get it done. And just so I can’t flake out, there will be PHOTOS. You know those photos I posted the other day of a few carefully chosen sections of my house? I’m gonna show the REAL Edwards house this time. And then I’m going to show how it looks AFTER. It will be something to see, I promise! So stay tuned this weekend, and cheer me on as I make some money and clean my house!

I also have about 3 paid posts for Sponsored Reviews sitting in draft mode that I need to finish up. PPP has had nothing for me for over a week and it’s so frustrating.
My house is a cluttered mess too. My son’s room is disgusting. I cringe just thinking about it.
