I have to make this quick, because it’s 1:30 p.m., Karen will be here in half an hour, and I still haven’t taken a shower! But look, and prepare to be amazed:
The playroom is CLEAN:
This side of the boys’ room is CLEAN:
And so is this side, and note the distinct lack of underpants hanging on the closet door:
Pretty nifty, huh? Of course, in my compulsive and perfectionist mind, it could still be cleaner, but for now, I’m patting myself on the back for a job well done. Thank you so much everyone who stuck around to read this weekend! After my next sponsored post, I’ll be doing a Link Love post for everyone who has cheered me on. Awards WILL be distributed! Gotta go!

Yippee!!!
Just don’t open any closets or doors!
The room definitely looks cleaner now! I’m sorting out my room as well, before I move in to my university in May.
You’re still at it!! Good Job! If it were my house I’d have lost interest by now and gone off to home depot for new plants or something… Looks great!
Looks great! Come do my house!
Great job! Are you checking your calendar to see when you’re available to come and do mine? lol
Oh, Mimi, you found out my secret! The reason the boys’ closet looks so clean is because I just CLOSED THE DOOR!!!!! LOL
Looks great! It figures, 81 degrees and I am still too sick to enjoy it. My head is so congested it might explode if I move around.
You done good, kid!
Lyndon, good luck with that, the cleaning and the move to university-sounds exciting!
Melissa-the true miracle is that I went FOUR HOURS without even touching my computer! I haven’t gone that long in WEEKS! LOL
Gosh Cynthia, I’d like to help you out, but it’s about 1600 miles from my city to yours!
Charlotte, my husband’s best friend lives in the same state as you, so one of these days we might be headed to your state. Can the cleaning wait until then??
Well I still seem to have a problem viewing some of your photos. So should I believe you that it’s clean at all? hehe… I’m sure it looks great. Good on you for following through with it.
Amanda, oh no! I’ve started resizing the photos to a smaller size than I was using before, thought that would solve the problem. Could you email me a screenshot of what my page looks like? Thanks!
nice work!!
I am VERY impressed!
Thanks, Shaz!
Aww, Robin, you poor thing! Get better soon, darn it!
Thanks, Allison!
Wow, I am especially impressed by the whole before/after thing! You’re certainly cleaner than me.
Oh, this was cool. I am late to the party, but youo’ve done a super job. I may have to emulate you this week!
Thanks! Of course, it’s easy to get nice photos immediately after you finish cleaning, let’s see if it actually STAYS clean
Thanks, Cass! It does feel pretty good to fill up whole trash bags full of stuff you don’t use or need anymore
I’d be happy to send you a screen shot except now the photos are there again. Now you think I am fibbing. And now I don’t think you were because I can see the before and afters!
I’ve been following this spring cleaning of yours very closely. We are having our neighborhood garage sale this next weekend, so this is my final week to look at all my own junk with a cold gleam in my eye. You’re an inspiration - thanks!
Are you taking appointments?
Wow…seriously? Can I be your apprentice?
Well done! You are inspiring me!
Ouch…what a busy weekend yours. I was a little away from the blogosphere (as you noticed on my post) and only today I’m catching up the posts.
As my husband is at home due to the surgery he had he is able to keep the house clean. Lucky me!!
Amanda, I don’t know what happened, but I’m glad you can see the photos now!
Cagey-I HATE having garage sales! I spent a week getting ready for one last year, and made maybe 50 bucks. I like shopping at them better than having them!
But here’s a tip that might help you-whatever surface you are cleaning off, whatever shelf or drawer, take every single thing out and put it in a box, a laundry basket, whatever will hold everything. Clean the surface, then start taking things out of the box one at a time. As you wipe off the dust, ask yourself do you USE it? is there a chance you WILL use it in the next month? If not, TOSS IT or give it to charity. You will be amazed at how much you get rid of that way!
Lisa-HA! It will be enough work just to actually KEEP this place clean!
Brian-You bet! You come to my house and I’ll teach you how to do ALL of my cleaning! Laundry, too! LOL
MSM-Thank you! It feels really good to haul bags of crap OUT of the house. Good luck with your cleaning!
Laura, thanks for stopping by to catch up! I hope your husband gets better soon.
Girl, I don’t know how you did this. Wanna do my house next???
