A cool contest site with cool prizes

Author: Elizabeth

I just found out about this new site called WhoGets.com. It is really unique in that you enter contests to win prizes, and the winners are decided by how many votes they get. I entered to win three prizes: a $20 Target Gift Card, a basket full of Aromatherapy Products from Bath & Body Works, and a GameCube game which I would give Ryan for his birthday.

This is NOT a sponsored post, by the way, I really do want to win this stuff! I am at Target for one thing or another several times a week, and $20 would buy a large pack of diapers and some wipes with a little left over for me to treat myself to something nice ( I have a bit of a lipgloss addiction, if you must know).  The Aromatherapy Products come with a basket of moisturizing body treatments, plus a sponge, a candle, and CHOCOLATE! And the GameCube game is just that.

The way it works is, for each contest, seven people who have entered are randomly chosen to be finalists. I had to write a little essay for each contest saying why I want that prize. If I get picked, my essay gets posted and people can comment on it, and discuss it, and then decide if they want to vote for me! So, if I get picked for any of them, you bet I’m going to ask you all to go over and vote! I deserve some pampering, don’t you think? Somebody’s gotta win, and it should be me ;)

Do they ask for any personal info like credit card # or anything like that? or is it just email and physical address?

There’s no cc info requested in the sign-up procedure.

KentuckyGal, there must not be any shipping costs if you win a prize, because they didn’t ask for CC or PayPal. Did you enter? Let me know so I can vote for you if you get picked as a finalist!

I’m addicted to lipgloss too. Have been since I was a little girl. I remember wanting my lips to be the shiniest on the block and I would beg my mom for a new lipgloss. Her suggestion? Vaseline. I wasn’t too thrilled until all of my friends demanded to know how I got my lips so sparkly! :)

Alison-Seriously, I cannot resist the power of lipgloss! I like the roll on kind (did you know Maybelline STILL makes roll on lip gloss?), I like the kind that is colored like lipstick, and I like the kind that comes in little plastic compacts that you rub on with your fingers. I had a Sonia Kashuk one from Target that is vanilla flavored, and Kaitlyn got a hold of it and ATE IT. I’m not kidding!
