Get a health care degree online

I talked to my friend Susan today, she is looking for a job. She has a degree from a medical education center here in town, which gave her a certification to work as a medical assistant in a doctor’s office-transcribing patient charts, keeping the medical records current, that sort of thing. What she would really like to do is get into nursing, but she has a three month old son and a husband who commutes 90 minutes each way to his job, so going to college would be tough. I suggested she look into getting her health care degree online. She could get a nursing certificate that would allow her to work in the field without having to pay for childcare for her son while she attends class. It’s the perfect solution and I really hope it works out for her.
