I’ve been getting lots of nice comments about Kaitlyn’s curly hair, which obviously she doesn’t get from me. Here’s a photo of two year old Chris:
And here’s Kaitlyn:
DNA is a funny thing, isn’t it? Our three children all look like each other, yet they each look more like one of us than the other as well. Kaitlyn has my face, but Chris’ hair. Ryan looks a little more like me, but has completely different hair than either Chris or I, it’s blonde like mine but coarse and thick. Nathan has my hair, but looks more like Chris! What about your family? Who do your kids look like?

Emily is, in many ways, the spitting image of me. She looked exactly like me when she was first born. But, her hair is straighter than mine (Thank GOD!). She also looks a lot like my husband, but I’d still say she looks more like me. I can’t wait to see what Lucy looks like. In some ways, I hope she looks more like Mike than me. We’ll see.
Not many have lovely hair like that.
Mr. Flinger is so obviously the dad of my children I have to show people the C-section scar to prove I AM THEIR MOTHER.
And one of ‘em isn’t even out yet. You think I’d be a hands-down obvious choice for THAT one’s mom.
I wish MY hair was like that!
I’m sure Lucy will be just as cute as Emily is!

Adorable! I don’t have any kids, but as far as myself, I look most like whichever parent I’m standing next to at the time. But I favor my mom’s side.
Thanks for the comment! I was actually planning on buying a set of walk away the pounds. The only current exercise tape I have is her 1 mile tape! I like it, but I want the extra miles too!
Wow. Does Chris know you posted that picture? Ha!!!!!!
My 3.5yo is a blond copy of his dad. Same triangle eyebrows when he raises them, same smile, etc. The pictures of a young dh and this kiddo are so alike it’s freaky.
Now the 1yo… apparently I actually did have something to do with his creation. Our baby photos look exactly the same, including the dark hair and eyes. He got my chipmunk cheeks, too.
This may sound weird, but being their mother, it’s hard for me to tell who my kids look like! My side of the family says they look just like me and of course my husband’s side says they look just like him.
Because all four of us are super-blonde, strangers will tell us that all four of look alike. Isn’t that nice? When people think your husband is your brother? Eeeek!
