Last week, I introduced my new weekly feature, Wayback Wednesday. Each Wednesday, I will dig through my archives and find posts that will help my new readers get to know me better, and remind my old readers-no, not old readers, um, “classic” readers? “vintage” readers”?-of posts they haven’t read in a while. I had a lot of great comments on the post, and I wish you could read them, but guess what I did? I tried to upgrade MomReviews to a new version of Wordpress, and screwed it up so badly that Bluehost had to do a restore. What they didn’t tell me is that they would have to restore ALL of my blogs to an earlier database version, dated from MAY. So I lost all of my posts going back to May 21st. I was able to copy them from my feed in Bloglines and re-post them, but I lost the comments. And it’s so stupid, because I upgraded Wordpress on this blog just fine, all by myself, so I have no idea what went wrong.

Well, anyway, let’s get to it. This week I have chosen more personal posts than last week. “Crawling out of bed to say Hello!” is Kaitlyn’s birth story, as well as the story of how I caught the stomach flu in the hospital while recovering from the c-section and tubal ligation. It is not for the faint of heart! But it is quite the story. And there’s a photo of me holding newborn Kaitlyn!

My Secret Identity” is a post I wrote about being adopted, and how my name was changed, and then it changed again, and how that makes me feel. Writing it made me realize that one of the things I like about blogging is that I know exactly who I am here, and I am in control of what user name I choose. No one can take that away from me.

You MUST Read This Post!” was written last year after I got an email from Izzy asking me if I wanted her free conference pass to BlogHer ‘06. I was SO freaking excited, you’ll see. I also included an essay I wrote for Mommybloggers titled “How my blog is changing my world”. I think you’ll like it.

We left our brains behind” is a retelling of something funny that happened when my husband and I attempted to get all of the children out of the house for a simple trip to the Mall. Anyone reading this who is a parent will relate to this story.

I hope you enjoy getting to know me some more through these posts! Like last week, please leave links in your comments to posts you’d like me to read. It’s okay if you are a new blogger and the posts don’t go back that far-I just want to get to know you better!

Oh, and please stop by MomReviews to read my new post, “Blog Blast-Tales from the School Cafeteria”.
