Yesterday Chris sent Ryan out to our garage to fill a big garbage bag with all of our pop cans, which we toss into an old trash container until we are ready to cash them in for the deposit. I hear Ryan rummaging around in there, there are banging and thumping noises, and when he comes back in he says to me “Mom, we need to clean out that garage.” Well, alrighty then! I would love for him to drag everything out so I could sweep and then spray the floor clean, get all the cobwebs swept away, and organize all the junk.
As far as storage goes, our garage came with a giant wooden cupboard, I guess you would call it. Basically it’s a big wooden rectangle attached to the wall of the garage, with doors. Not very useful, and not very great to look at, either. I would love some laminate storage cabinets that wipe clean and make the inside of the garage pleasant to look at. I say if Ryan doesn’t like the way the garage looks, he’s welcome to make it look better!

My basement is also my garage. It took us three or four days to completely get it clean it was so full of the junk. The wife and I are both pack rats and after having been married for nineteen years it is amazing how much junk we collect.

Yes it’s nice to have a clean garage where you can park your car and not a place where you can stock your junk.:-)
