Re: The editorial and disclosure policies for Table for Five, a personal blog

*********************************************************************

Effective August 07, 2007, the following policies are in effect on this site-

* All decisions regarding content on this site are the sole discretion of it’s author.
* All opinions regarding content on this site will be duly noted and considered by it’s author.
* All opinions are welcome, as are compliments, suggestions, criticisms and complaints.
* Criticisms and complaints will be considered to a lesser degree than compliments :)
* Some posts will contain links to other websites. If these links have been sponsored, and saying so will not violate the TOS of the sponsor, then the post will contain a sentence informing readers that the post contains sponsored links.
* If the post contains links and there is not a sentence informing readers of a sponsorship, then all links can be assumed to be placed there because the author thinks the site being linked to is interesting, or informative, or something else of a personal nature.
* If the sponsor of the links requires that the post not reveal the sponsorship, as they sometimes do, then the author has chosen, at her personal discretion, to place those links anyway, because the sponsor is paying her a chunk of money, which she needs. It is not intended to deceive the reader in any way.
* For more information on this site’s disclosure policy, please see the page titled “Disclosure Policy”, located under “Pages” on the left sidebar.
* This editorial and disclosure policy is in effect until further notice.

Thanks, but I had to switch the theme back! After spending eight hours on and off yesterday, trying to figure out why the widgets and plugins didn’t work, I finally emailed the theme’s author-turns out it isn’t compatible with WordPress 2.2-ooops! So once he rolls out the upgraded version of the theme, I’ll put it back.

And thank you. I just wanted to make sure everyone was clear ;)

Alison- well, I’m hoping it will clear up exactly what readers can expect. Once the post drops off the main page, I’ll make it a separate page and have it in the sidebar. And hopefully now we can all move the heck ON!

LOL! Excellent! Nothing like putting it out on the table!

And, I loved the “new” site, but man I had moochoo problems loading it! Real PITA! Glad you’re back and waiting for it to be compatible!

    Wow.

That sounds all official. And legal. And stuff.

Mimi- I know, sorry about that. It didn’t occur to me until this morning to email the theme author, and his first question was “what version of WP are you using?” DOH!

RWA- Well, I do have a graduate-level degree in Litigation Management from the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia. I’ve never used it, but I can break out the legalese when I need to :)

Graham- Thank you. Hopefully that will help clear up what I do on this blog for everyone.
