Congrats on the award!

The medicine thing makes me sick! My son's one medicine cost us over $400 a month because the insurance company said it wasn't necessary. Finally I got it covered so now it *only* costs us around $50 each month. Don't even get me started on this topic though because it makes me sick to know that because I had cancer, I will be paying over $40 a month just for my medicines alone for the rest of my life. I get that medicine isn't free, but it should be!

GB- The co-pay is based on a percentage of the drug's retail price, and there isn't a generic form of this particular medication. My son can't swallow pills at all, so this is a capsule full of powder. Even if my doctor agreed to let me order the 90 day supply, I would still have to pay the $50.00 annual medication deductible, so the cost would only be $20.00 lower. There's really no way around it. And of course, I have money in my PayPal account, but we are going to my sister in law's this weekend and doing a big family trip to the Toledo Zoo, which I just know is going to cost a fortune. It's always something.

Marie- Thanks. We don't have Publix here, but both Wal-Mart and Meijers (our giant grocery superstore) have the free antibiotics program. Unfortunately they don't have free ADHD meds!
