Head throbbing. Feel clammy. Stomach churning. Back of neck aching. Friends, I am sick. Don’t get too close to your monitor while you’re reading this, I’d hate to get you sick too. I’m going to bed and it’s 3:00 in the afternoon. Thank god for responsible ten year old sons who can take care of their siblings until Dad gets home.
Hopefully I’ll be better tomorrow and have something to say, until then, I’d love it if you would click this link and read my interview on P.R. firm MS&L’s blog BlogWorks. I’ve been working with MS&L for over a year, and this summer, they launched a blog. Charlie, my contact at the company, asked if he could publish my answers to some questions about blogging. After publishing my answers, he emailed me and called the post “Mommyblogging 101″. Enjoy.

Hello and welcome to Table for Five! I'm Elizabeth, and this blog started in September 2005 as a way for me to participate in the Mommy Blogging community. I'm married with three terrific kids-boys ages 11 and 9 and a 2 year old daughter. Things I love include my family, coffee, Diet Coke, TV, reading, and Target.
Please contact me at table4five AT gmail DOT com if you would like to discuss anything I've posted here, place a text or button ad, send me a product to review, or provide a guest post. Thank you for stopping by!
You had an excellent interview, Elizabeth. I like all the advice you gave out. They were all worthy things a blogger-to-be should heed.
Sad. I hope you feel better soon. I recently had something similar, with a 102 fever, and my body ached all over. A word of advice:
Treat yourself to sugar-free Popsicle brand original Popsicles (cherry, orange, grape). They are sweet enough to not let your blood sugar drop (if you can’t eat without it coming back up, like me) but they’re only 15 calories each.
(That’s not a typo!)
Very nice interview! I hope you feel better soon and please take good care of yourself.
Sorry you aren’t feeling well… maybe you should try some Goyin! Ha, just kidding.
I hope you feel better soon. The interview looks great.
Great interview Elizabeth! I hope you feel better soon.
Great interview and great advice! Thank you!
Hope you feel better today!
Feel your pain. Sore throat, congested sinuses and chest, 100 degree fever. At least my two year old who had it first was over it in 36 hours. I’m taking a sick day.
Hope we both feel better soon.
Hope you feel better soon. I really like MS& L too!
Graham-Thank you! I’m going to create a page of some kind with links to my interviews. They aren’t just for Moms after all!
Jes- You know, I buy those sugar-free Popsicles for the kids all the time, and it never occurs to me to eat one myself! Thanks for the suggestion, I did have one and it did help me feel cooler!
Dana-Thank you for your kind words, and for making me laugh on the PPP boards last night
Goyin- I’m not even going to ask what Goyin is, nor am I going to click your link. Maybe no one has told you, but blog comments are for personal remarks, not for selling your own product. Thank you for stopping by.
Jess- Thanks for the kind words and for reading the interview!
Great interview, Elizabeth. I love the advice you gave bloggers about not treating posts like a text message. I’m noticing more and more that people are inclined to bypass anything that takes much thought or effort and are all to happy with those “time savers” which really lack professionalism. Thanks for making me think about this. It really challenges me to take my writing more seriously.
Congrats on your Blogworks feature and I hope you’re feeling better today!
Hope you are feeling better today. I liked that interview that you had. Lots of very good pointers in there. I think I’ll give a blog carnival a go.
