HAVE YOU BEEN THINKING ABOUT SIGNING UP WITH PAYPERPOST? READ THIS!!

There is something very big, and very exciting going on over at PayPerPost, called “Argus”. It is going to be the biggest and best thing to hit PPP since, well, since PayPerPost Direct, and that was pretty dang big. Argus is much, much bigger. Click here to read about Argus on the PPP blog. I hope they don’t mind me showing you the Argus logo, or whatever you call this thing:

I can’t tell you how badly I want that on a t-shirt! And I want someone to make it into a small stuffed animal too! It ROCKS!

Ahem. Now, here’s the big, important, rock-your-world news. Argus is the next-generation release of PayPerPost.com, and part of it has something to do with the ability to add code to your blog. According to PPP, your blog will be more attractive to advertisers if you can add code to your blog. In order to do that, you generally need your own domain. Your blog needs to be YOURDOMAIN.com, or dot org, or dot net. Which probably seems like no big deal unless you are one of the bloggers using a free TypePad blog, or Xanga, or Vox. Those platforms do not allow javascript. Neither does Blogger as far as I know, although I think there are ways to get around it. So, why is this so important?

If you are already signed up with PPP but don’t have access to your own code, buy your domain NOW. You’ll have almost three months to build up a new blog before Argus is released in November, and PPP requires blogs to be 90 days old and have 20 original posts to qualify. Remember, if you need help with Wordpress, I am available to hire for that :)

The second thing I want you to know in this post is that while I am so happy that so many have you have caught “Postie fever” from me, that my enthusiasm for PPP has inspired others to sign up as well, I have to be honest-I’m sad that no one is clicking my affiliate badge and using it to sign up. Why? Because if you use my badge to sign up, get approved, and write your first post and it gets approved, I get paid $15.00 for signing you up! And why shouldn’t I? I’m practically a published billboard for how awesome PPP is, why shouldn’t I get paid for referring people?

According to my PPP dashboard, ten people clicked my badge and signed up, but never wrote a post! That’s $150.00 that I didn’t earn! It is SO EASY, I promise. And you get paid $20.00 to write your first post, about how you joined PayPerPost! Please click this link to read my post “Getting Started with PayPerPost”. The only thing that is different from when I wrote that is that your blog will be more attractive to advertisers if you use your own domain for your PPP posts. You can buy domains and hosting fairly inexpensively from GoDaddy.com. And when you are ready to sign up, click this badge! You will make me very happy if you do :)
