Sometimes in my review assignments, I get something truly baffling. Like when I got a keyword assignment for the words tonneau cover-not only did I not know what that was, I didn’t even know how to pronounce it! Thanks to dictionary.com, I now know that the word is pronounced tuh-NOH, and it’s the cover on the back of a pickup truck bed. Who knew?! So this is a tonneau cover, and they look something like this:

BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com sells all kinds of tonneau covers, including ones with hinges that lift up, and ones that roll up like a window shade. So if I ever buy a pickup truck, and need a tonneau cover, I’ll know right where to look ![]()

I think they’re also for the front of a car, like a sports car, and when used that way — they call ‘em “bras”.
I might be wrong, that’s from my way-along-time-ago brain files — the 1972 high school MG Midget-driving days.

Valerie- Ah yes, the days of the sports cars with the bras on the front. Although my high school car was a 1983 Chevy Chevette, and I loved that car so much. Thanks for the comment!
