Yes, I know it’s after 10:00 p.m., and yes, I know I should sleep at some point, but you know what? I’m not going to. Instead, I’m going to post, post, POST! Woo hoo!! I will undoubtedly get quite slap-happy at some point, and probably cease to make any kind of sense at all, and you know you don’t want to miss that.
Why the post-a-bration? Well, because it’s my blog, and NO ONE is going to tell me what I can and can’t write on it, right? So I have these post assignments that need to get done, and I have these questions that my readers asked me when I posted about having writer’s block (boy, was THAT temporary), and you know what? I’m going to do ALL OF THEM.
Starting with this one, right here. I got a free trial download of a program called Morpheus Photo-Morpher. It’s pretty easy to use-you just select two photos from your computer, upload them, and then use the Photo Morpher tools to get the photos matched up as far as size and positioning is concerned. To line about the elements in the photo, you place these little dots on each photo and then move them around until they are in approximately the same place on each photo. You select the speed, the number of frames, and when you are done, you get something like this:
Well. That didn’t work. I tried saving it as a gif file, and it was too big, so I went back in and made it smaller and saved it again, and it didn’t look right, the pixels were all squished. So I went back one more time, and guess what? After three tries, the “Free” trial expires! That SUCKS! I’m sorry that I’m not a Photo Morpher Expert! If you click that link and have Windows Media Player, you’ll be able to sort of see what I made, from a baby photo of Nathan to a photo of him taken a few months ago. But the pixels are all blown up or something, so it doesn’t look right. That’s so frustrating, I was excited to show off the finished result.
Maybe you’ll have better luck than I did, go to Zoombli to try out the software for yourself.

I’m going to have to play with this again. I tried it once and didn’t get anywhere and never went back to it. I got a ‘real’ not trial version of this software from Giveaway of the Day a while back. FREE. Did I mention it was free?
Anna-I just wish I could have embedded it on my blog before the trial ended. Chris and I spent a bunch of time selecting the photos, playing with the frame speed and everything, so it was frustrating not to be able to show off the finished result. That’s great that you got a free copy.
