Say the Time-fun alarm clock software for Windows!

I had a chance to review a new program for Windows called Say the Time. The program consists of an
atomic clock software download from http://www.saythetime.com/ in the form of an exe file, with a guarantee of no spyware or adware. It’s a free trial for the first 30 days, too. It runs in your toolbar, mine is at the bottom right, and the colors and font are customizable to match your desktop if you wish. Then, you get to set up all kinds of fun options like choosing how often the program says the time! There are two choices, a male voice and a female voice, and you can choose from either the traditional Westminster Chimes (like a Grandfather clock), or a “ting” sound. I have the female voice and the “ting”.

I’ve got it set to announce the time to me every hour, but it can be as often as every minute. There’s also a stopwatch feature, a calendar, date and time synching with the atomic clock, reminders that can be set for specific events, and my favorite, sticky notes. Say the Time is fun, customizable, and a great way to help manage time while online. I think I’m going to get a lot of use out of it!

I’ve installed it and gone with the Westminster chimes and set it to every quarter of an hour so that I keep an eye on how much time I waste on Facebook.

Chamonix-Haha!! Excellent! We have a grandfather clock that chimes every 15 minutes, so I went with the sound that goes “ting!” As opposed to the machine that goes “ping!” if you’re a Monty Python fan :)

Anyway, come find me on Facebook! There’s a bazillion Elizabeth Edwards’ though, so search the Lansing/East Lansing MI network to narrow it down.

  3. Ha. I can’t beleive I haven’t seen this before. I set mine for every hour (at least until I get annoyed with it). I don’t like the fact that I’m limited to these two alarm sounds though.
