It’s giveaway week here on Table for Five, and if you’re interested in winning a t-shirt from the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, please leave me a comment on this post.
I’m excited to be giving away two different DVDs, all of which are great fun for kids. The first is Disney’s Little Einsteins’ Rocket’s Firebird Rescue. We received a copy of this DVD to watch, and Kaitlyn loves it! Having studied music for 18 years, I enjoy the way classical music is used not just to score Little Einsteins episodes, but as a part of the plot.

In this animated adventure, Leo, Annie, Quincy, and June team up to free the magical Firebird from the clutches of a music-hating ogre, and it’s set to the music of Igor Stravinsky’s “Firebird”, and also teaches about Faberge eggs and Russian Nesting dolls.
To enter to win this DVD, leave me a comment on this post, and tell me which of the Little Einsteins is your child’s favorite, or if they haven’t seen Little Einsteins yet, tell me what piece of classical music or piece of art is your favorite.
For TWO entries in the giveaway, leave me the comment, and either add me to your blogroll or fave my blog on Technorati.
For THREE entries and my undying gratitude, leave me the comment, add or fave me, AND write a post about the contest linking back to this post! This contest will end on September 30th.
The second giveaway is a copy of a new Halloween DVD featuring Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, called “Mickey’s Treat“. In this animated story, Mickey and his pals are dressing up in costumes to attend Big Pete’s Halloween party, but they have to make their way along a candy corn path and through the foggy woods to get to the tower before the moon is full. They have to work together to make it to the party on time. And, in an interesting cross-promotion, this DVD contains a bonus Little Einstein’s episode called “Little Einstein’s Halloween”, in which the Little Einsteins visit castles around the world, set to the music of show favorite Edward Grieg.

The rules for this giveaway are the same as above. For one entry, leave a comment on this post, but for this contest, tell me what your favorite Halloween candy or treat is.
For two entries, leave the comment plus add my blog to your blogroll or fave it on Technorati.
For THREE entries and becoming my best bloggy friend, leave the comment, add or fave my blog, and write a post about this giveaway linking back to this post. The contest ends September 30th.
Good luck, everybody! Thanks for playing along ![]()
