This is how desperate I have become, people. In order to get my lazy ass on the treadmill, I am putting this badge in my sidebar, which I found on Trying to Catch Up:

Now, I know I do a lot of posting every day, and I have resolved myself to the idea that I’m not going to get a lot of comments on every post. And that’s fine. Although I do think that the good people who send me the stacks of DVDs and books and cleaning products and other great things I get for reviews would be thrilled if the posts did get comments once in a while
BUT, I know not everyone is going to comment every time, and I know we are all in different time zones, so here’s how this is going to work: 7:00 PM will be the starting and ending time. Leave me a comment on any post on ANY OF MY THREE BLOGS any time between 7:00 PM one day and 7:00 PM the next day, and I will walk on my treadmill for one minute. So, if you comment here, and on MomReviews, and on MomCooks, that’s THREE MINUTES I will owe you on the treadmill, and so on. All you have to do is come here, and then the links to the other blogs are right there in my left sidebar under “My Other Blogs”-easy peasy!
And, if you really want to help me get my ass in gear, feel free to go through the archives and comment on older posts, too. Anything you want to say on any post is fine. But please, for the love of god, don’t spam me. I’m appreciative of real comments, but I’ve been getting a lot of “comments” that are the email address and URL of another website. No thank you.
So get to commenting, and I’ll get to moving! You’ll be commenting my ass off! HEH!

I'm married with three terrific kids-boys ages 11 and 9 and a 2 year old daughter. Things I love include my family, coffee, Diet Coke, TV, reading, and Target.

Walk, woman, walk!
Thanks, Suebob! I’ve been feeling those old demons popping up, the ones that whisper in my head that I don’t deserve to lose weight and look good, so why not eat a donut instead? It’s been harder than EVER this time.
Good luck Elizabeth. I hope you walk your ass off!!
I shall have to leave a dozen comments a day!
What a great idea! Although, it is a bit sad that we become so desperate for comments! I know what you mean though, my number of visitors has gone up, but my # of comments has stayed the same. Good luck with the treadmill!
Hmmm, I wonder if I could connect a tray to mine that would hold my laptop so I could blog and walk at the same time?!
Well, I guess you’ll owe me a minute there.
Try to post the total minutes you’re doing due to comments and you’ll probably get your comments even higher. Of course that means more time on the mill…
Let’s see that sweat coming ;), with such a badge up you can expect to get people make you move :D.
This is a great idea!! Is that 7:00 pm ET? If so, I have now commented on two posts after 7:00 and I want to see some results!!
Here’s another minute for you. Good luck on the treadmill. I added you :))
Start sweating girl! LOL
I just realized we have a treadmill.. but it isn’t with us. that’s how much I actually use it. eh hem.
I had updated my blogroll.. I forgot to tell you after you left a comment about that.
You owe me a minute :D.
Good luck! I hope this works for you.
This blog make me think of a saying. Instead of walking is good for the heart, it is now “walking is good for the posts.” You see, you got 12 comments, mine is the 13th, for this post. I will invite my colleagues who have done nothing but contemplate all day on whether or not they should refinance a mortgage loan to post comments for this post too.
Well then here is another minute for you!! Wish you all the best!!!
Now get moving girl!!! LOL
I’m commenting so I can experience the thrill of making someone else exercise since I’m too lazy to do so.
Thank you so much for visiting my site!
It was nice to hear that your sister had liked it in Finland! Say hi to her from me.
Katja
(continuing to read your blog now…)
Good luck! Send me stuff, I’ll review it for you!
That’s why I didn’t exercise regularly before. Now I am accountable for the exercise and meals I do because I have to write it down and take it in my doctor lol
What an awesome idea! I might have to follow your lead in order to get MY dead ass moving!
Oh and you owe me a minute on that treadmill now woman! HA!
i need to get in on this with you. i have 15 more pounds to go and dang on it….i need all the pressure i mean help i can get
So I need to keep commenting for ya…
I haven’t been able to exercise much what with all the canning and exhaustion (yeah, those two don’t go together so much either), and it sucks. I’m hoping to stay/get into decent shape so it’ll potentially be easier after the watermelon’s out.
what a great incentive! I guess you’ll be running for days. If only they had a reality show to prove this lol
