Exercising for comments-21 minutes so far!

Yesterday I announced my new exercise initiative, Exercising for comments! For every comment I get in every 24 hour period starting at 7:00 PM EST every day, I will walk one minute on my treadmill. I had 2 comments on MomReviews (thank you SO MUCH Becky!!!), 4 comments on The Toddler Who Ate Philadelphia, and 15 on Will Exercise for Comments, so that makes 21 minutes so far! I wasn’t able to walk last night because Chris got home from work late, so I’ll be walking during Kaitlyn’s nap, and then AGAIN after 7:00 PM while the boys are having their Friday Night VideoGame Night, so keep on commenting!

Oh, did I mention that on MomReviews, I am giving away two copies of “Hannah Montana-Life’s What You Make It“? So far, Becky is going to win both of them! lol

I am visiting for the first time – thank you for the comment on Flickr. And here I get to make you walk another minute on the slidewalk to oblivion (treadmill)! How cool is that.

And I, too, turned 40 this year. How dare you call me middle aged. I am only now beginning to mature, thank you very much. You sound like my wife who is just past half way to 70. Sheesh.

OddMix-I didn’t say YOU were middle aged! I said that “I” feel middle aged now that I have hit 40. Which is why I’m walking for comments, so I don’t have to FEEL 40 anymore :) I really appreciate you coming over to my blog and leaving a comment, hope you will come back soon!

Suebob-I did 20 minutes last night. By about minute 15, I wanted to quit! I could only walk at 2.5 miles an hour, so I only burned about 80 calories, too. But, I DID IT!!

I vote that your comments that are replies also count. As does this one. :)

Amanda-Your comment counts, but you also want me to count my replies to comments, which are also comments? Are you trying to kill me? LOL

You better walk another minute! What a good idea – both the exercising and getting comments.

When you get off the treadmill (if you ever do) I tagged you for the A Little About Us meme.

  22. Big Pumpkin says:

What a brilliant idea!!! Why don’t you turn off your anti-spam comment button? Hee, hee…

Anna-Thanks! I had no idea just how out of shape I was until I started doing this. 20 minutes on the treadmill feels like torture by about minute 15 :) This might possibly be the smartest thing I have ever done.

And thanks for the meme tag! I have four product reviews to do today because I’m so far behind, so I’ll put your meme in between. It’s going to be CRAZY on this blog today!

Big Pumpkin-I’m sorry, what “anti-spam comment button” are you referring to? I wasn’t aware that I had one of those. All comments are welcome if they are legitimate comments that aren’t just someone trying to get a link to their own business or product site.
