About Table for Five:
First there was me and my husband, and then there were two wonderful sons. And then there was a new baby coming! One day, we walked into a restaurant, and the waitress asked how many? I said, table for four, please. Then I turned to my husband and said, when the baby comes, we'll need to ask for a table for five. And the rest, as they say, is history. Can you believe it’s been a year already? Last year, Eden M. Kennedy, author of the blog Fussy, had an idea-she thought it would be fun to suggest that for the month of November, anyone who wanted to join in would spend the month committing to post something to their blog every day. National Blog Posting Month, she called it.
Something like 1,000 plus bloggers joined, including me. At that point, I had never posted every day to my blog, and I wasn’t even sure I could. Not only did I post every day, I even took the kids down to the township library to submit my posts on the library computer, because our cable modem went out. I was SO proud of myself at the end of that month!
Now it’s time for NaBloPoMo 2007, and obviously I already post every day here. I signed this blog up, but I also signed up MomCooks, because I have NEVER posted every day on that. AND, that includes posting while I am in Memphis this weekend, so it will definitely have it’s challenges.
Eden is using the Ning network for NaBlo this year, so head on over to Ning, it just takes a minute to create an account, and then you can add your blog to the blogroll, grab a badge, and add yourself to the list of over 3,000 bloggers that are participating.
If you don’t want to sign up yourself, that’s okay. I’ll be putting the NaBloPoMo randomizer badge on my sidebar, and every time you come here, you can click it to go to a blog on the NaBlo blogroll. It’s a GREAT way to find new blogs, and support the NaBlo participants!
