About Table for Five:
First there was me and my husband, and then there were two wonderful sons. And then there was a new baby coming! One day, we walked into a restaurant, and the waitress asked how many? I said, table for four, please. Then I turned to my husband and said, when the baby comes, we'll need to ask for a table for five. And the rest, as they say, is history. Well. There’s nothing like that first cup of coffee in the morning, accompanied by a look at my Wordpress Dashboard-did anyone leave me any comments? They did? Awesome! Another sip of coffee, let’s see what someone felt like contributing to the discussion.
Oh.
If I ever write something that is my opinion, and you feel strongly enough about the topic that you want to comment and suggest that I consider a different opinion, I am all about that. If you want to point out something I might not have thought about, fine. If I write a post about a certain product, and you think a different product is better, say so. I’ve got an open mind. Want to ask me a question? Find out some deep dark secret about me? Ask away. I’ve got very little to hide.
But if I write a post that you suspect was sponsored, and soon you won’t even have to guess because PayPerPost is going to start requiring in-post disclosure, but if I write a hundred words or so about a product or website, you can just go ahead and assume that I did it because A. the topic interested me, B. I felt the topic might interest some of my readers, and/or C. I like getting paid for my opinion.
Feel the need to point out that the product I wrote about can be purchased at 7-11? Fantastic! I’m sure the company that paid me to write about the product will be happy to know that my word-of-mouth marketing got someone to buy it. There’s really no need to be snarky about it. If you read this blog, you know I write paid posts. And that I DON’T FEEL GUILTY ABOUT IT. Ahem.

Mimi-Was I too snarky in the post? I just don’t understand what would make someone leave a comment on a blog post about how it must be sponsored because the product can be bought at 7-11. I mean, so?

here’s the thing.. If you suspect that it’s a sponsored post, and you don’t feel like reading a sponsored post, um.. skip the friggen post. I mean the last time I checked this blog exercised free will. I don’t THINK you demand that any of your readers read every single post in order to read any of them at all, do you sis? I don’t THINK you’ve implemented some mind controlling device to force someone to read sponsored posts when they clearly don’t want to.. or have you?? Should I get my tin foil hat out? Oh wait, I have a hair appointment tomorrow and most likely will be wearing tin foil(s) in my hair at some point anyway. 
I skipped the post because I figured it was a paid post and we have free unlimited continental US calling. Maybe somehow I drew on the energy of the foils from the future, was able to thwart the paid posts of the past about the calling cards of the present.
I have listen the baby cd yesterday. their acoustic music is awesome. and have a nice day for you.
The next time someone posts some off the wall comment, refer them to me. I have a can of “cuss them the fugg out royally” in my stash. I’ve been having a BAD week and I am itching to let loose on somebody. Why oh Why are people still trying to start ISH on your spot? WHY???????????? 
I’ve told you before and I’ll say it again, this is YOUR HOUSE! YOU MAKE THE RULES! IF people don’t like it, then they need to stop coming by leaving mean spirited comments. I am so annoyed by this.
Elizabeth, until they write you a check every month that will pay all your bills and allow you to post up on the beaches of grenada for 3 months out of the year, then they need to stop HATING on your ‘hustle’.

I suspect that people who get snarky pointing out that an entry was sponsored are the very same kind of people who, when visiting other folks’ homes, walk around looking for dust bunnies and streaks on the mirrors.
Kate-In that case, I certainly hope that “JayMonster” never comes to my house, because she’ll have plenty to complain about.

Sheesh! If they don’t like something they should skip it! This is probably the person who yells at the coach if her son doesn’t get to play even though he stinks at the game. Oh, her son is 25. LOL
