Who wants a free Dell Digital Projector Rental?

Over the long Thanksgiving weekend, our family had the opportunity to try a Dell Digital Projector, courtesy of Projector 123. It arrived in a solid black case, and at first I was intimidated by all the different cords and cables inside. But my husband, ever the tech guy, showed me how all we needed to do was plug the projector into his laptop, and then anything we could see on a computer screen, we could project up onto the wall.

The hardest part was finding a bare wall space that was big enough! I ended up taking down a few of the animal posters in the boys’ playroom, and that was the perfect space, about five feet by five feet. In a bigger room we could have been further away from the wall and had a bigger image. It’s also dark in the room, and I’m standing at an angle to the wall, but this gives you an idea:

You can also plug it into a DVD player. The site suggests using it to watch your favorite holiday movies on the “big” screen. Or, you know, project your yoga exercise class up on the wall so you can see it as you twist yourself into a pretzel

With that in mind, the generous folks at Projector123 have agreed to let me host a giveaway of a weekend rental of a projector. I’m starting the giveaway today and running it until next Monday, December 17th at 9:00 AM EST. I’ll give the winner the email address of the person to contact, and they will need to give them a shipping address so that it can be delivered by Fedex in time for the weekend. The case also includes a return Fedex label-I called Fedex and scheduled a pickup, and they sent a truck right to my house.
