Do you ever come across a new blog and wonder how the heck you haven’t seen it before? Because you and the other blogger have things in common, and you start reading their blog posts and noticing who they link to and it’s all other bloggers that you read as well? That is how I feel about Mommy Cracked!

I really like her blog design, and she uses a lot of big graphic buttons that are easy on the eyes. She refers to her husband as “Cracked Daddy”-ha! I was surprised to see in her archives that she’s only been blogging since October, she seems to have picked up on it really quickly. I’m pretty sure that when I had only been blogging for 3 months, I still didn’t know how to even put an image in my sidebar, let alone make it link to something

My favorite post on her home page is her “Works for Me Wednesday” post-which I notice was actually posted on Tuesday, but she was probably trying to beat the rush to get her link up at the site She confesses that she keeps those little Dum Dum suckers in her purse to give her 2 year old when she needs him to sit, like in a shopping cart. I can’t believe I’m on my third kid and I never thought of that! I usually just spend the entire time at the store pleading with Kaitlyn to please sit down before she falls out and cracks her head open. Next time, I’m taking Mommy Cracked’s suggestion and bribing her with a sucker!

I also liked this piece she wrote for Associated Content suggesting classes that colleges should teach to prospective parents, it is really funny! Mommy Cracked is a very family-friendly site, and she writes really well. I recommend you check out her blog.
