Thanks for making me drool, USA Today

USA Today came out with a list of the Top Ten dining establishments, and one of them is a restaurant in La Jolla, California called Trattoria Acqua. I clicked to the site to check it out, and now I am craving pasta! I want this-”Cappa Santa alla Damaso – Jumbo Sea scallops and shrimp with our house-made tomato fettuccine pasta, fresh organic corn and a spicy lobster sauce”. And this-”Linguine Arabiatta – Linguine pasta tossed with a spicy combination of Black Tiger shrimp, Italian bacon, garlic, capers, organic tomatoes and chili flakes”! Doesn’t that sound GOOD? We don’t have any restaurants in Lansing serving dishes like that. It’s all chain restaurants around here. I’m so hungry now just from posting this ;)

Stephanie-Well, save your money, because a plate of pasta costs $25 or $35 dollars! Is that common in California? Because around here, nothing costs that much in a restaurant!

You’re making me salivate with those dish descriptions!

Not that common, although not too unusual in La Jolla, which is a generally upscale area.
