Popularity of cosmetic procedures

Not surprisingly, the most popular cosmetic surgery procedure in California is breast augmentation. And in West Palm Beach eyelid surgery is popular for tightening up sagging eyelids. In New York, it’s Botox that women want most, and in Knoxville Tennessee, it’s liposuction.

Here in my house, the most popular “cosmetic procedure” is putting on mascara Seriously, if I ever am successful in losing weight, I would totally want to have some kind of skin-tightening procedure. One of my blog friends had that done, and the difference was amazing. I doubt I would have Botox though, the actresses I see who have obviously had it done look so weird to me. What about you? Would you have some kind of cosmetic surgery?

The only thing I ever had was laser surgery on one eye, but it snapped back to the original!

Graham-You mean the laser surgery didn’t work? Oh no! My friend’s husband had that done, and when he explained the procedure to me, I decided I was too chicken to ever have something like that done.

I would like to have my flab taken off. It’s the only thing that really bothers me. However after 2 c sections I am in NO rush to go under the knife again!

When I was a teen I had a list of 9 DIFFERENT types of cosmetic surgery I wanted. Everything from Liposuction to softening up my jaw line. But today, if dental cosmetic surgery qualifies, I’d get a perfectly straight forever white Dentyne smile. If not, and I wasn’t such a wimp to skin abrasion type pain, I’d say hiposu - er I mean liposuction… Everywhere … But because I can’t in good conscious rent a house and have a nice butt, I keep my double order of badonkadonk and our nest egg both in tact.

Whatever Cosmetic Surgery procedure you choose, make sure you know who will be performing it and know their credentials. In this day and age, there is very little regulation of the Aesthetic marketplace and so virtually anyone with a medical degree can perform these elective procedures (and will!). Make sure that they are Board Certified and that they perform a significant amount of these procedures on a yearly basis. Remember…it is always easier to get it done right the first time around!

I’ve had lipo done, and it’s gotten me a fabulous body. Definitely worth the money (close to $6000CA) and time (1 month to get totally recovered). It’s not for everyone, but if you’ve got the patience to lie around to recover and the cash, it’s worth considering.
