I found a copy of an older version of WordPress on my desktop and uploaded it, so now I have my categories back. It still bugs me that I can have the upgraded version running on three other blogs but not this one. Hopefully it will get worked out in a future upgrade.
I’ve got tons of new photos up at Flickr if anyone wants to take a look; they are from our visit to my Aunt and Uncle’s house on Christmas Day. They live in a loft above the lighting store they own, and it is decorated in a way that you just have to see. The link is http://www.flickr.com/photos/table4five/sets/72157603607772316/.
What else? I’m babysitting for some friends today, their 20 month old daughter Gretchen is here. She is so cute! She is very smiley and giggly, and is getting along with Kaitlyn well. Plus she’s napping in our Pack N Play, which is always a plus.

If you have the latest version of WP working well on other blogs, but it won’t on this one; chances are it’s either something quirky with this particular theme or it isn’t playing nice with a particular plugin you’re using on this site.
You could head over to http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags#Category_tags and double check that the category template tag in your theme’s sidebar is one that’s compatible with the newer versions. Some of the older ones no longer work with the newest versions of WP.
Just another possible solution for you.

Well…whatever’s going on with this site works way better for me than the other one…which took forever to load up on my computer. Thus, the reason why I don’t come around as often. I had tried switching to the WP Default theme (the upgraded version) and deactivating all the plugins, and the categories still wouldn’t show. I appreciate the suggestion though!
By the way, sis, I MUST insist on you sending me some “Auntie JJ gets a kiss from Princess Muffinest” pictures! I didn’t even get a chance to see them on the view screen in between all the smooches I was giving to her.
