It’s almost Valentine’s Day, which means Target has been selling red and pink-wrapped candy since the end of December, and the stores are filling up with paper heart cutouts, boxes of chocolates, and greeting cards for the occasion. If you have kids, and they like Fruit Rollups, I have a giveaway for you! Surprise a special kid this Valentine’s Day by giving them a Fruit Rollup Valentine!
At My FruitRollups, you can personalize Fruit Rollups with text and images, and then order a box of 30 for $29.99. OR, you can enter my giveaway and win a box for yourself! But you have to hurry, because in order to get the boxes delivered by Valentine’s Day, they have to be ordered by January 29th.
The one I made Nathan looks like this-and I didn’t realize until after I placed the order that the lettering was cut off on the sides, but I doubt he’ll notice. I thought I had chosen the smallest font, too. Oh well. I found the “You So Rock” message in the “Start with a Picture” section. You can choose how many sections of the Rollup have a message or picture, I just chose 4 to keep it simple.

The three winners of this giveaway will each get a Promotional code to purchase a box of THIRTY customized Fruit Rollups! That’s a value of $29.99 plus tax. Here’s how this giveaway is going to work:
I want you to leave me a comment telling me what the most sweetest Valentine was that you ever sent, or received. That’s it! I’ll choose the three that I think are the sweetest, and send Promotional codes to each of the winners. January 29th is next Tuesday, so put on your thinking caps and think back to the Valentine you sent or received that you thought was the sweetest, and tell me about it in my comments. Good luck everybody!

After 18 years of marriage I finally had money of my own, not our money, and I bought my hubby a dozen red roses, a teddy bear that said, “I WUVS YOU” and a box of Cherry Cordials (his favorites). Not real sweet but I was so proud that I had money of my own to get him something, I cried at the check out counter, they thought I was a NUT!

The year my husband I got married (three days after valentine’s day) he got me a t-shirt that has all the Where the Wild Things Are monsters on it and it says “Wild Thing”. I’m a librarian so it is terribly cute to wear to work! He knows I hate flowers because they have to be thrown away (what a waste) and I don’t need candy, my goodness, my waistline! So he gets me practical items but still sentimental to us.

JustMyLife-I completely understand why you got teary at the checkout counter! That is a really sweet Valentine story. Thanks for entering!
Jenna-I think that was very sweet! The best gifts from husbands are the ones that show that they are paying attention to what we really like
Thanks for entering the giveaway!
A valentine made ours a personalised sweet.
I haven’t had that many valentine cards, but had a beautiful one when I had a ’serious’ girlfriend in 1993.

The best Valentine’s I’ve ever gotten were from my dad. He’s my ’step-father’ but he raised me since I was a small child and has always been my Daddy. We had a rocky time when I was a teenager because he just didn’t understand me - a bookish girl. He’s very quiet and was never overly affectionate or loose with words. Thats why when I get a simple card with “I Love you Taryn, Dad” written inside it means the world to me. When he says “I love you” his voice changes and I know he really really means it. I have the best daddy in the world.
The sweetest valentines I ever received was from my s/o now, it was our first valentines day together and I was still in school at the time living 3 1/2 hours away and he couldn’t make it off work to come and visit me so for the entire week he arranged deliveries to my house. The first day I received a dozen roses, the second day I received another dozen, the third day (Valentines day) I received a stuffed Snoopy holding a box of chocolates, the fourth day I received those chocolate covered strawberries in a beautiful box, the fifth day I received a mixed bouquet of flowers, the sixth day I received a balloon bouquet and on the seventh day I found s/o standing on my doorstep. It wasn’t about the money he spent because Lord knows he was paying for it for a year afterwards lol but the thought that went in to the gifts was amazing and of course the very best one was the strawberries…okay okay it was s/o on the doorstep but the berries were great

Taryn-That’s really sweet. I know what you mean about Dads that have a hard time being affectionate, and how much it means to just see “I love you” written in a card. Thanks for entering the giveaway!
When my hubby and I had been married 3 1/2 years we spent our 1st Valentine’s Day apart. He took a job as a consultant so he traveled all week and it just happened that the day of love fell on a weekday
I was really sad because our 1st daughter was only 2 months old and he was out of town for Valentines Day. We made plans for him to call me at a certain time and when he called he told me to go look in a drawer in our bedroom. He had left a card with a gift for me before he went out of town (it was a gift card for a day at the spa!!!!). I loved knowing that he was thinking of me while he was traveling as much as we were thinking of him.

Chandra-Awww, that was really sweet of him! He’s a keeper
Can I be all sappy and state that my best Vday gift was my son? He was born 2/11/07. Yes he was early, I tried holding him in but 3 days was just too long to wait.
But before last year I would have to say roses and Cherry Coke. I am not a big flower person but I got 24 red roses at work and then he delivered a bottle of Cherry Coke to my work. Cheezy I know but I LOVE Cherry Coke.
Yea I guess I am easy to please.
Aren’t these a great idea??? Especially for kids - since my son loves fruit snacks & roll-ups!!
Last year my son made me a huge red heart out of construction paper at school and decorated it. When he came home, he said - “Mommy, I give my heart to you.”
It was just the sweetest thing EVER!!

Hi, What a wonderful contest. I would use these at the Valentine Party at our school. The students would love them. The sweetest gift I have gotten is when my two sons were old enough to tell their dad they wanted to pick mom’s Valentine Card. Thanks,Cindi
I don’t have a valentine story, but loved the idea of this.
Hopefully it will come in useful
Thanks.
