It seems to be the law of our general nature, in spite of individual exceptions." Thomas Jefferson. He was warning us. Centuries ago Thomas Jefferson knew that as soon as people stopped paying attention, the government would "become wolves." We stopped paying attention and we got screwed. I can't even stress how hard we were screwed without it sounding pornographic. Then again it *IS* fairly obscene. We're JUST NOW starting to pay attention again - but will we only pay attention long enough to let ourselves be lured into another false sense of security? They need to create more jobs and lower the price of gas. I have a theory...low gas prices equals larger profits. Or am I the only one who thinks this way? Could be though! I will listening as well. You don't even want to know how much my stocks dropped in value after he was elected. It was really bad. As in a 3/4+ decline in value. :( And they haven't recovered yet. The Great Depression lasted so long *because* of gov't interference. The whole mess would've righted itself much sooner given the chance. Best thing the gov't could do is actually use and stick to their own budget. Gee, wonder why folks don't see anything wrong with living above their means when the gov't does? Grrr.
