kaitlynyogurt.JPGMy kids love yogurt. I can barely keep it in the fridge as fast as they eat it, and I like yogurt as a snack because of the protein and calcium. So when MomCentral sent me Yoplait® Kids yogurt cups and drinkable bottles, I knew my kids would be willing testers.

I got a six pack of yogurt cups in Strawberry and Peach flavors, and although the kids preferred the taste of the strawberry, they did eat the peach flavor as well. Each cup is 100 calories, but I do have a hard time justifying the sugar content-*Yoplait® Kids has 26 grams of sugar per 8 oz., which is 25 percent less than other yogurt brands aimed at kids, but it’s still a lot of sugar. You need to decide for yourself how yogurt fits into your kids’ diet.

I had never purchased drinkable yogurt before, so I wasn’t sure what the reaction would be. The boys turned them down, but Kaitlyn happily drank the Mixed Berry flavor yogurt bottles. The only thing she didn’t like was how small the portion was, only 4 ounces, which is the appropriate serving size for a toddler, but she would have happily drank a whole lot more at once.

I’ll buy Yoplait® Kids yogurt again, especially if I find it on sale. You can get a coupon for a FREE package by going to the Yoplait website.Click the Free Coupon button to get a coupon mailed to you so you can get some Yoplait Kids yogurt too!
