(Not) Wordless Wednesday-Wedding Dress

Author: Elizabeth

I forgot to mention in yesterday’s happy things post that my sister in law got married last weekend! She was jaw-droppingly stunning in her custom-made dress, and she and her husband threw the most amazing wedding I’ve ever been to. They gave personalized notes to every person, made homemade hot chocolate and chocolate spoons for everyone to take home, and even had a birthday cake served to her and Chris’ Grandma.

So, I’m breaking the WW rules a bit to show you some of my favorite photos from the wedding, which took place at the 120 year old Mansion View Inn in Toledo, Ohio. I’ll have reception pics uploaded to Flickr soon.

I hope you enjoyed these photos, I’ll be getting the whole set up on Flickr as soon as I can.

Also, as long as you are here, please feel free to look through my other posts, check out my ChipIn Widget, and please leave a comment! Happy Wordless Wednesday!

I’m not sure about wordless, but I’m definitely speechless … she looks absolutely beautiful.

And hot chocolate is a lovely wedding favor to give their guests, (which is how I came to find your blog BTW!)

Nice to meet you, if only virtually.

now I’m all booey sis! The pics are BEAUTIFUL – mind if I snag a few to show friends/for the book we’re having printed up? I told Monkey that the ONLY thing I didn’t like about my dress is that I only get to wear it once! hehe. Well, if/when Monkey and I decide 100% for sure not to have any more fidgets, maybe I’ll keep it just in case Princess Muffinest doesn’t want to wear yours :) She’s the closest thing I have to a daughter, you know. Love you! Mwah!

Deb-Wasn’t that dress amazing? It made me wish mine hadn’t been so cliche and poofy :)

  6. table4five says:

Tuppy-Thank you for stopping by! Not only did they give everyone a coffee mug with a baggie of hot chocolate mix and the spoon, but they also brought the hot chocolate mix to the wedding reception and had the restaurant mix it up so the kids could drink it while we had coffee! It was thoughtful, and DELICIOUS too.

JJ-Feel free to copy any of the images, and what I can do is resize all the originals to 800×600 and then put them on a CD for you if you want. I can’t wait to see the photos your photographer took!

Fantastic dress. I often have trouble accepting the colour black in a wedding dress, but it works really well here.
