I’m going to Disney World!
I was going to keep it a surprise, but I can’t wait any longer-I’m going to Disney World next month! The wonderful folks at BSM Media have invited me to a special Mom Blogger Mixer, all expenses paid, with the agenda created specifically for our group to learn about all things Disney!
I thought I had been there before but I remembered that it was DisneyLAND, in California, where I have been twice. My Dad says they took us to DisneyWorld when we were kids, but I have absolutely no memory of it. So I am so excited to see what is in store for me!

Hope you had more fun then I did. I broke my finger there and spent night in the hospital and I didn’t have any real fun because it was expensive and there was nothing to do.

I much prefer the Disney-Epcot combo in Florida to the California experience. The weather is generally a but warmer in Florida, the parks seem much larger and varied as well.
We haven’t made it to Eurodisney to compare, but hope to one day.
Up in the Highlands of Scotland, there’s nothing to compare. We’d be forced to drive 8 or 12 hours south to find something even similar (though a much smaller scale).

Wow, I absolutely LOVE Disney World. Hubby and I went on our honeymoon almost 7 years ago. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back again soon. I have been there so many times. I remember when there was no EPCOT or Disney Studios or Animal Kingdom. It has been an amazing ride watching the Florida dream turn into a reality.

Nanci-Thank you! They are keeping the agenda a surprise, so I don’t know how many of the parks we will be visiting. I do know that when I was there as a kid, Epcot had not yet been built, so I would like to go there if possible.

Homemom-My kids can’t believe I’m going to Disney without them, so I’ll have to buy LOTS of souvenirs to make up for it
Sadie-don’t do that! lol I highly recommend coming to BlogHer this summer and handing out a business card to every single person there, which is what I did last year, and it really opened a lot of doors for me. Hard work, but it paid off!

Val-No, it’s just me going. It’s over a weekend, so my husband just has to take that Friday off, and his job allows him to work from home when necessary. So I have nothing to worry about! (Except missing my kids, of course)
