I think that Mother Nature purposely makes two year olds completely adorable so that you won’t kill them when they are throwing raging temper tantrums over the number of Whopper Malted Milk Eggs you are allowing them to eat after lunch.
Kaitlyn has been trying to sing “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”, and she wants so badly to make her fingers do the spider climbing up the waterspout, but she just doesn’t get it. But she ROCKS at “Washing the spider out”.
She still can’t pronounce the hard c sound or ch, which means that when she sings the Chuck E. Cheese song, it sounds like “Tut E Teeses, where a tid tan be a tid”.
She cracks us up on a daily basis. Someone is always saying “did you hear what Kaitlyn just said?” Life with her is never boring.

Hello and welcome to Table for Five! I'm Elizabeth, and this blog started in September 2005 as a way for me to participate in the Mommy Blogging community. I'm married with three terrific kids-boys ages 11 and 9 and a 2 year old daughter. Things I love include my family, coffee, Diet Coke, TV, reading, and Target.

She is adorable. And I totally agree. God makes little ones adorable so that we don’t wring their little necks when they are being such stinkers!
Our 3 year old yesterday kept saying Nooovi-ahs! This translates to “movies” by the way.
Sleeping Mommy’s last blog post..That’s just crazy talk
What a cutie - and with envy-inducing hair to boot! My husband really wants another child… your sweetheart certainly makes a good argument!
Cheers!

It sure looks like y’all have a lot of fun! She has such a sweet smile. She can’t possibly ever get into trouble!

Ha Ha, my Hanna will be two in May and she does the same thing with Itsy Bitsy Spider. The part about washing it out is great, this big arm motion and WWWWAAAAAASHHHHH!
I agree they are made that cute for a reason!!
Jackie
Sleeping Mommy-Sure, because “noooovie-ahs” sounds just like movies
We have to be language translators, too!
I remember that in college, my anthropology professor opened a class by saying that baby animals, humans included, are cute so their parents won’t kill them.
I suspect your daughter’s cuteness level will allow her to get away with an awful lot.
Becki’s last blog post..What I did on my spring break
Christine-Just so you know, there’s quite a little drama queen hidden under all that cuteness. Perhaps your husband should babysit a 28 month old girl before he claims to want another baby
LOL!
Haha! I couldn’t agree with you more - toddlers and preschoolers are cute for the sole purpose of survival - it’s nature! If my youngest (now three) wasn’t so darn cute I have a feeling we… well, we won’t even imagine what we might have done with her (toddler for sale, anyone?!)

Chandra-She’s actually pretty obedient as far as if I tell her to stop doing something, she’ll stop. But she does throw screaming temper tantrums if we say NO to her about anything. There’s never a dull moment!
Your daughter is adorable. Totally agree with you. At that age they are too precious. It’s also the age when they start learning to say “no”. LOL. Thats a whole other headache.
Jackie-that’s what Kaitlyn does, “waaaaash the spider out”! I’ll stop by your blog, thanks for the visit!
My daughter just turned 2 on Saturday. I totally agree that they are so cute that it is hard to get mad at them (even when they throw their food on the floor)!
Oh, yes, your daughter is cute!
Sam gets the words all mixed up with Itsy Bitsy Spider too. He just makes them up when he forgets. It’s too funny!
