It’s been a rollercoaster of a day for me today, my friends. Ransacked car plus the shock of a furnace repair cost plus learning about a blogger with cancer who deserves a vacation-I’m pretty much wrung out. I just finished telling my husband, it looks like BlogHer is impossible now, and he sadly patted my back and said “I know, honey, I’m sorry”. Then I saw this:

BlogHer is having a contest and giving away a conference pass, round-trip airfare, and two nights’ accommodation.
Now, if you want to, you can nominate me, if, you know, you think I deserve it. You do not need to be registered at the BlogHer website to nominate someone. I figure this is pretty much my last shot at going, unless some corporation decides they really need to sponsor a blogger to go (I’ve already approached a few companies I work with, they all politely declined). So I’m asking, and you don’t have to feel obligated at all, but if you want to nominate me, you know I would appreciate it even if I don’t win. That’s all, I’m crawling into bed now with ice cream and numbing myself with television for the rest of the night.
