It’s a long shot, but I have to try

It’s been a rollercoaster of a day for me today, my friends. Ransacked car plus the shock of a furnace repair cost plus learning about a blogger with cancer who deserves a vacation-I’m pretty much wrung out. I just finished telling my husband, it looks like BlogHer is impossible now, and he sadly patted my back and said “I know, honey, I’m sorry”. Then I saw this:

BlogHer is having a contest and giving away a conference pass, round-trip airfare, and two nights’ accommodation.

Now, if you want to, you can nominate me, if, you know, you think I deserve it. You do not need to be registered at the BlogHer website to nominate someone. You just need to fill out this NOMINATION FORM. You will need my full name-Elizabeth Edwards, my email address-elizabeth@table4five.net, and my URL- http://table4five.net.

I figure this is pretty much my last shot at going, unless some corporation decides they really need to sponsor a blogger to go (I’ve already approached a few companies I work with, they all politely declined). So I’m asking, and you don’t have to feel obligated at all, but if you want to nominate me, you know I would appreciate it even if I don’t win. That’s all, I’m crawling into bed now with ice cream and numbing myself with television for the rest of the night.
