Remembering Why I’m a Mommyblogger

I’ve come to the realization that I need a reality check of sorts. That I’m veering off in a direction that while not bad in and of itself, is further away from where I intended to stay when I first started blogging. Tonight I had this Write Post screen open and I found myself just staring at the screen. Little fragments of post possibilities were jumping around in my head, but no fully formed ideas. Usually I can start with one thought and pour it all right out onto the screen, but not tonight. I’m blocked.

I have MommyBlogger’s Writers Block, and it’s not making me happy. So, I’m going to post some photos to look at that will help me remember just who it is that I started this blog FOR. My Children.

I feel a little better now.

Ironically, I’m clean out of stuff to say this morning. Didn’t think THAT would ever happen. :-) I like your idea — to post pictures. I guess I would need to actually, you know, TAKE some pictures first.

    You have gorgeous kids!

  5. Sometimes I think we all get the writers block. You have adorable children.

Hope you had a great Mother’s Day!

    WTG!

You know over the past few months I’ve been trying to find where I “fit in” in the world of “Mommy Bloggers” — I’ve come to realize that I started blogging for me and for my family. Not to be able to “fit in” someplace.

I’ve stopped trying to drive traffic to my site. I’ve stopped trying to read everyone’s blog every day. I’m cutting out a nook where I can be comfortable and still not neglect my family.

What cute pictures of your kiddos!
