I don't think HD Radios work the same way as HD TV does where you need a new antenna and a different frequency band.. FM Radio stations have to restrict their bandwidth (which restricts high defination sound), because too many other adjacent stations trasmitting nearby, so HD Radio instead has sent the analog signal digitally, so they can actually compress the higher quality signal, to fit within a restrictive channel spacing slot, which is why it doesn't transmit a signal on a completely differenct band all together, like Sirius Radio does, via satellite transmission.. By the way, Sirius merged with XM Radio merged recently.. I wonder if this will also cause them to be more competitive with HD Radio and their lower prices and/or bring in more stations as well..

Yes...You're correct. High Definition Radio is the better choice than CD while traveling in the car. Nowadays I have become addicted to HD radio especially the Florida High Definition Radio stations.

Mom of twos last blog post..Saw Palmetto : A Perfect Home Remedy For Enlarged Prostate

I get the song’s info will be saved from your HD Radio receiver to your iPod, and will show up in a playlist called “Tagged” in iTunes the next time you sync your iPod to your computer. So you can click, download and buy the songs.
