Edmunds “Savvy Shopper Sweepstakes”, plus I’m giving away Two $10 Gas Cards!

All good things must come to an end, which means that unfortunately, this contest is closed. Thank you so much to all 416 people that entered, the most entries I have ever had on a giveaway!

“Edmunds Savvy Shopper” is an interactive sweepstakes game from Edmunds.com, the premiere online resource for automotive consumers, and Edmunds’ Inside Line the most-read car enthusiast website.

Participants will guess the price of a showcased vehicle in a game show setting to be entered into a weekly drawing for a $200 cash prize, as well as the Grand Prize of $3,500 cash that can be used towards a down payment on a new car.

How weekly prizes work: Each winning entry will be entered into a pool. The weekly winner will be drawn at random for the $200 cash prize. Participants will be eligible to play and win with each weekly vehicle refresh.

How the Grand Prize works: Each winning entry over the course of the sweepstakes run will be entered into a final pool. The Grand Prize winner will be drawn at random for the final prize of $3,500.

The “Edmunds Savvy Shopper” sweepstakes game begins on May 1, 2008 and ends on June 12, 2008.

To promote this sweepstakes AND help you buy, well, 2.5 gallons of gas, I’m giving away TWO$10.00 gas cards good at any U.S. U.S. BP, Amoco, or ARCO gas station. To enter, leave a comment on this post. You must leave a real first name or blog alias and a valid email address for your comment to be entered in the giveaway. Open to U.S. entrants only.

Not required but always appreciated-Stumbling this post, adding it to Digg, adding it to Kirtsy, blogging about this giveaway with a link back to this post. Let me know if you do any of those in your comment!

    Hey 2.5 gallons of gas is equivalent to about 40 miles for me so I’m game. I just can’t remember the last time I saw a Amoco or Arco station around here.

    With the price of gas being on average $4 per gallon it is going to be tough this summer to take very many road trips.
