I have a four year old daughter who constantly reminds me to stop and smell the roses. She can be very demanding and just drive me and my wife nuts and then all of a sudden she'll say "I love you daddy". My heart just melts! I'm really thankful for her and am learning to really enjoy the moments again like when I was a child. We tolerate the bad restaurant behavior periodically as well... Sometimes it's comfort in chaos I guess...:) Amen to that! I have a four year old daughter who constantly reminds me to stop and smell the roses. I laugh about the reaction of your daughter and it makes me think about my daughter. What will be my daughter's reaction if i put a frog on her hand? Maybe she will scream also.
