I just want to take a minute and apologize to all my readers for the annoyingly frequent “CPU Quota Exceeded” errors you’ve been seeing when trying to view this blog. I don’t really know what is going on at Bluehost, although I do know that Lisa over at My Thoughts, Ideas and Ramblings got so frustrated with her constant errors and the lack of help she was getting from Bluehost support that she moved all 7 of the blogs she manages to Hostgator instead. I haven’t decided what to do yet, I’ve been looking at different website hosting options.
The thing about a site like Web Hosting Rating is that someone else has already done the “leg work”, tracking down the different hosting sites and what they do. You can look at their picks for best budget hosting, best blog hosting, best forum hosting-whatever your needs are. The site also has informative articles like this one on Tips for Choosing a Domain; if you don’t have a blog yet but are thinking about getting one, read that article for some great information on how to come up with a name for your site.

Yeah. I have been looking for webhost in the last days and now I have bought 1 month in godaddy to make a trial. I buy my domains there, and I think it’s gonna be good.
We have been using Sectorlink for our hosting and are quite happy. My husband is a Webmaster and always recommends them to people when doing work.

I am becoming a fan of Netfirms. They are pretty cheap and I haven’t had problems with them. They are the first hosting that I have actually stuck with past the promotional period.
Bluehost doubled the CPU quota a few months back. Are you sure its not a plugin or other site on your account that is causing so much CPU usage?
