Holy kamoly that’s a long title for a DVD! Alvin and The Chipmunks: Daytona Jones and the Pearl of Wisdom is a 1990 release that is now out on DVD. It combines three short spoofs of classic movies. In “Daytona Jones and the Pearl of Wisdom”, Alvin as Daytona Jones sets out to track down the legendary Pearl of Wisdom. Along the way he battles the sinister Roland Bellyache to win the Pearl. “Batmunk” has Simon as the Caped Crimefighter, battling the Jokester played by Alvin! And in “Robomunk”, a super robot cop and his police partner must clean up the city after arch villian Mr. Pinky (Theodore) launches his evil schemes.
From what I could tell from the reviews on Amazon and other sites I looked at, the Alvin and the Chipmunks DVDs have quite a loyal following. Who knew?!? So if you are one of those Alvin fans, pick up these DVD to add to your collection!

This looks too cute!
Sounds like it’s got hijinks for kids and a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor for grown-ups. I’m not an Alvin fan, but I’d check this out for family viewing.
i grew up watching these characters, they also remind me of the rescue rangers. I think my children would enjoys shows like that from back in the day!
