Ugly Betty and yeah, still sick

I feel really weird. Headache, neck ache, and my stomach feels funny. My ears kind of hurt too. We’re still doing the garage sale tomorrow, my husband is determined to clear out our basement and seems to think our neighbors will be interested in buying our old junk. I hope he’s right. My friend Kellie S. is coming over in a little while to help me sort through the stuff in the basement.

Kaitlyn is better, although extra-whiney because she had four days of my full attention and got pretty much anything she wanted, so now that I’m not letting her watch TV all day long she’s whining at me about it. Life’s tough, sweetie.

Oh hey, guess what I watched? The Season Two box set of Ugly Betty. That show is pure genius I tell you. It could be so serious, all the drama and backstabbing and fighting, but instead, it’s perfectly campy and outrageous. America Ferrara, Eric Mabius, Vanessa Williams, Judith Light, Rebecca Romijn- all perfect. I LOVE Becki Newton as Amanda and Michael Urie as Marc St. James- they are the PERFECT comic relief on the show! The second season has big shake ups at both Mode and at Mead Publishing, romantic entanglements for Betty, and a surprise for Daniel. Thisfive disc box set loaded with bonus features would be a great gift for Ugly Betty fans.
