Fall is my favorite season. I love those days when the leaves on the trees are fiery yellow and orange, silhouetted against a bright blue sky. I feel like this year, Fall just passed me right by and I was too busy to stop and notice. On each of the last two weekends, I was driving to run an errand and looked out the window and noticed how beautiful the sky was, how vibrant the trees were, and wished I could just get out of the car with my camera and take photos. But I was “too busy” rushing here and there.
My friend Drew lives in Massachusetts and he posted the most amazing photo the other day from the top of a huge hill, he was on a tram that takes people up to the top, I assume so they can look down at the breathtaking panorama of trees below, each one a patchwork of red and orange and green and yellow. Fall here in Michigan is pretty, but it is nothing compared to Fall in Massachusetts! I’ve always wished I could spend some time in New England while the leaves are changing, but it’s one of those things that I never remember to just DO, you know? I could stare at that photo that Drew took all day! It’s not like I’m going to suggest to Chris that he start looking for Boston Sales Jobs or anything, I just need to remember that errands can wait, but beautiful leaves and bright blue skies are only here for a short time.
By the way, if YOU are looking for a job in the Boston area? That website I linked to up there has 738 pages of them, or you can search by job title, City, or company. You’re sure to find the right job for you!

It’s my favorite time of year as well and does seem like it is just passing by.
When the leaves turn, I’m in the mood for soups and stews. Cooking a big ol’ pot of soup on the stove just warms my heart. And if I use fall ingredients like squash, all the better!
happy great day.
