From the archives of People.com: Clayton Daniels, a 24 year old Texas man, and his 22 year old wife Molly, cooked up a scheme to keep Clayton from going to jail on a sexual assault charge, which violated his probation. They plotted to dig up a body, burn it in a car crash, and have Molly report that the victim was Clayton. There was just one problem with their plan-investigators noticed that there were no skid marks near the scene of the accident, and then DNA evidence recovered from the crash proved that the victim was not Clayton.
There was also the problem of Molly’s “new boyfriend” Jake. Molly’s son Caleb was sure that “Jake” was actually Clayton, but Molly insisted he was wrong. After all, Jake had different color hair, and a beard, and he wore a baseball hat and sunglasses all the time, so he couldn’t be Clayton, right? Cops arrested Clayton and Molly at Taco Bell and Molly pled guilty to insurance fraud and hindering her husband’s apprehension. She was sentenced to 20 years and a $10,000 fine. Clayton had his probation revoked and received a 20-year sentence. He still faces charges for arson and insurance fraud. Caleb is living with Molly’s mom. I wonder if Molly’s Mom will officially adopt Caleb? After all, he has to be raised by someone while his parents are in jail for 20 years each. I hope that Molly has access to a good Divorce Attorney from inside prison, unless she wants to still be married to Clayton when they both get out of jail!
From The Smoking Gun: 60 year old college professor Ronald Ayers used his work email address to send letters to a colleague discussing the “pr0n star” look of one of his students, wondering if she perhaps had a job dancing topless, but thinking it wasn’t the “right time in their relationship” to ask her that question. He described her breasts as “chest puppies” (UGH. are you kidding me?) and surmised that her wanting to go over exam questions with him after class meant that she was interested in him.
In other emails to his colleague, Ayers described how he enjoyed flirting with young female salespeople and detailed how he found an “amazing variety” of 99-cent lingerie at Goodwill included a thong that apparently, um, hadn’t been washed (EWWWW). Ayers was fired when it was discovered that he was surfing pr0n sites at work. He appealed the decision, had his dismissal overturned, and is now on paid administrative leave while waiting for his case to be heard by the University Board of Regents. I just hope for his sake that Ayers isn’t married because if he is, I bet his wife has called a Divorce Lawyer by now.
And don’t even get me started on the guy from right here in Michigan who was arrested for indecent exposure after he was caught um, pleasuring himself with the vacuum hose at a self-serve car wash. There is just so, so much that is wrong with that.

A vacuum hose? I don’t want to start thinking that…
As criminals do mistakes and that is the reason they are punished. How smart a criminal may be, there is a chance of doing silly mistakes in his crime. Through which he will be caught.
Would be funny if not that sad… I have missed 1 thing – how comes out that in the first story they both have to spend for 20 years in jail, the crimes do not look equally evil to me (hers looks less evil at least).
And all Molly Daniels can talk about is what was done to her and the piece of white trash she married.
This is a guy who raped a 9 year old girl when he was 16 — and she stayed with him. She broke law to protect him. She put him ahead of the welfare of her own son.
She’s not too bright…but then again, what can you expect from someone who has had two children…by two different men…by the time she was 22?
