Ah, The Cosby Show. From 1984 to 1992, Bill Cosby and his T.V. family were part of the Thursday night NBC “must see TV” lineup, and I never missed an episode. Even when I was in college from 1985 to 1990, I set aside time on Thursday nights for Cosby. I remember everyone on my dorm floor gathering around in one girl’s room to watch it on her little TV.Â The Cosby Show wasn’t just hilariously funny, it was heartwarming and touching and sometimes tear-jerking.Â Viewers fell in love with the characters and shared their ups and downs every week.
