Parker went (and is still going) through his "terrible 2's" when he was about 3 1/2. I put HIM on the time out, though. And in this house that means "go and sit on your bed for 4 minutes." He just resists change a whole lot and while our lives might be very stable and routine, being a growing young child is not. One day you're poopin' in your pants and the next you're on a potty chair getting skittles for poopin' there - until you graduate to the toilet and so on. He says all of the time that he doesn't want to be a big boy, that he wants to be a baby... Until we start telling him all of the cool things he'll have to stop doing because babies can't do those things.. Like play on learningplanet.com or eat cookies or have his favorite lunch (Spaghettios in all of it's various forms.) Parker's been prone to saying "That's a GREAT idea!" lately... Cracks me up. "Hey Parker, lets have lunch and then work on writing letters some." "That's a GREAT idea!"
