Bond, James Bond is back in a new movie that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat! Daniel Craig returns as James Bond in Quantum of Solace, a thrilling, action-packed adventure which starts shortly after Casino Royale ends. Betrayed by the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. On a nonstop quest for justice that crisscrosses the globe, Bond meets the beautiful but feisty Camille (Olga Kurylenko), who leads him to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a ruthless businessman and major force within the mysterious “Quantum†organization. When Bond uncovers a conspiracy to take control of one of the world’s most important natural resources, he must navigate a minefield of treachery, deception and murder to neutralize “Quantum†before it’s too late!
This was a different kind of Bond movie from the ones I grew up watching with my Dad. It lacked the witty wordplay of the older Bond films, especially the Sean Connery ones. Bond was in a major spiral of anger and depression, making bad choices and almost ruining his relationship with “M”, who is pretty much his only real family. This isn’t the suave Bond who drinks martinis and romances beautiful women while cleverly foiling dastardly plots, this is a much darker Bond, who is dealing with his problems with his fists.
Still, the cinematography is stunning as always, and the plot wraps up in a way that leaves you hope that Bond will keep going. Daniel Craig is one tough cookie, that’s for darn sure. For any Bond fan, Quantum of Solace is worth seeing.

I heard that quantum of solace is a pretty cool movie. I want to watch as soon as i can… thanks for the post! kisses! cristina.
I pretty much agree with your thoughts. I also find it a bit too much action-oriented and not witty enough. But nevertheless quite a solid sequel..
Hmm…maybe I’ll try to rent this.
i agree with your thought.i saw this movie,it is a very good movie.i like james bond.everyone should see this movie.thanks to sharing it.
Yeah…I’m not really feeling this bond. When I was a young kid Nintendo 64 had a game called Golden Eye, of course modeled after the bond movie, and it was amazing. The problem with that game is that it probably made most of us who played that game feel like bond should only act like Pierce B…(who in all honesty isn’t even that great of a actor)
This new guy is kind of weird…
Hmm, i really liked Casino Royale. But this one? Nah.
Hello everyone.
A good review of the movie, however i want to write a review of my own, in a few words.
I have seen this movie 2 times, hoping that the second time I see something I missed the first time.
Well the movie was good, but not amazing. That’s the only word I can use about it.
Anyway, is it just me or Pierce Brosnan did a better job playing James Bond?!
All the best,
Jonas
Bond is always good – in the UK seems to be a Sunday regular for the old ones on tele.. Suaveness down, action up a bit. Good review for a good film.

Daniel Craig is definitely great in this film and I reckon he is now pretty close to being up there with Sean Connery as the best James BondJames Bond DVD Box

Hi
I love Daniel Craig in bond, its such a shame that the next film is on hold while MGM tries to find a buyer.
Although I agree Pierce was a good bond.
Cheers

I love all the James Bond movies! I analyze the movie instead of the actors.
